SAN FRANCISCO--Microsoft said Thursday it will soon release free anti-virus software so people on tight budgets won't skimp on protecting their computers from hackers.
A beta, or test, version of Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE) will be publicly available for download beginning June 23 in Brazil, Israel and the United States. It is to be rolled out in other countries later in the year.
"Cost and performance barriers prevent many consumers from using up-to-date security software to protect their PCs," Microsoft said in a statement.
The US software giant described MSE as "a no-cost anti-malware solution that provides consumers with quality protection from threats including viruses, spyware, rootkits and trojans."
The technology firm said that effective anti-virus protection is a "must-have" for computer users given increases in the number and severity of attacks by cyber criminals using malicious software to infect machines.
Paying to buy and routinely update computer security software "does not meet the needs of many consumers," including those in emerging markets where money and resources are scarce, according to Microsoft.
The Redmond, Washington-based company said it will automatically update MSE for users.
Kingston announced a new product in their HyperX series today, a 12GB triple-channel DDR3 1600MHz RAM kit. Consisting of three 4GB modules, the company is proudly the first to release a kit of its specifications. Naturally, the kit is mostly targeting the hardcore users seeking to max out their x58-based machines.
Senior technology manager at the company, Mark Tekunoff, was boastful of Kingston having been the first to release 2GHz kits, and expressed his enthusiasm about the recently introduced memory. He went on to say that this particular set of RAM was tested on the Asus P6T Deluxe motherboard and was capable of reaching 1,600MHz at 1.65V with respectable 9-9-9-27 timings. The latest HyperX offering has the largest capacity in the series.

Intel’s upcoming Core i7 processors will feature a turbo mode, as announced on Day 1 of IDF . Although not quite like the retro turbo mode button found on computers of the late 1980’s, the turbo mode on Core i7 core i7 will still result in increased single threaded performance. The technology is based on the idea of dynamically increasing the frequency of the CPU when not all the cores are in use, archiving higher single threaded performance when that is all that is required.
The technology is aided by the improved power management features found on Nehalem also announced at IDF. The Integrated Power Gate technology will shut off idle cores, reducing their voltage to zero, rather than just lowering the power provided to them. Not having as many cores on using power and producing heat, will allow other cores to use more power, increasing the performance of those cores, while still not exceeding the maximum TDP of the processor.
In the following scenario for example, if you are using a Core i7 with 4 cores, and the game you are using uses only a single core, the other three cores will turn off, reducing the heat produced by your processor, allowing the only running core to be automatically overclocked for higher performance. This new technology may be a compelling reason for many to no longer choose the faster clocked dual core processor over the slower quad core, as the quad core could offer now equal single threaded performance at the same price.

go task manager.. then process.. kill all wscript.exe..
tapos go run type %temp%.. delete win folder under temporary file.. or you can also delete all temp files..
tapos go run again type msconfig.. unchecked gova virus.. hanapin mo lang di ko lang kasi matandaan yong name :)P
